"The Incredibles" ranks in my mind as one of my all time favorite movies. The story it tells of heroism, the value of family, and of misguided laws and bureaucracy holding heroes down was entertaining for me. While teaching 4-5th grade Sunday School in Los Angeles, my little students would call me "Mr. Incredible," and suddenly I noticed that many of my friends say I have a resemblance to him, so this has caused me to contemplate him more. I believe that teachers are truly heroes, they work to inspire, advocate for, and pass on valuable information to their students every day. I am inspired daily to work towards doing the best for my students, and to provide them with a safe classroom and positive leadership. I also think of the need for heroes to stand up to people who harm the innocent, and how characters like Mr. Incredible give me the insipiration to be a hero when needed!
